| About the Tuition Waiver Program
The Tuition Waiver Program is administered by the Anne Arundel County Public School System through its Gifted and Talented Program Office. The Gifted and Talented Office oversees the distribution of Tuition Waiver catalogs in all public schools and selects students to receive tuition waivers on a random lottery basis.
The Tuition Waiver Program exists because of Maryland Hall’s building use agreement with the Anne Arundel County Public School System: Maryland Hall has use of our 1932 facility—the former Annapolis High School—and in return we allocate 20 percent of our age appropriate class enrollment to be filled by public school students through the Tuition Waiver Program.
Each year, more than 400 Anne Arundel County Public School students take classes free of charge through the Tuition Waiver Program.
Applications must be returned to the Board of Education by the published
deadline. Placement is not guaranteed. Students
are required to pay materials fees, when applicable.
