All That Art Call for Artists 2017

Entry deadline: January 31, 2017. 

Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts will host the 12th Annual All That Art exhibition (from April 18‐28) and auction fundraising event on Friday, April 28 from 6‐9 pm in Maryland Hall’s galleries. Proceeds from All That Art benefit Maryland Hall’s visual arts program and the participating artists; live and silent auction sales are split equally between the artist and Maryland Hall.

All That Art Schedule:

  • January 31: Call for Artists Entry Deadline
  • February 13: Jury decision notification sent by email. Contact MD Hall if you do not receive notice. The All That Art jury will consist of the All That Art committee.
  • March/April:  Jury consults with accepted artists as necessary about pieces in the auction
  • April 1:  Online catalog of works published at
  • April 7: Drop off of work, Chaney Gallery, 9 am-5 pm
  • April 18-28:  Work is exhibited in the Chaney and Martino Galleries
  • April 28: All That Art Auction Event, 6-9 pm (Each artist receives one complimentary ticket to the event)
  • May 1:  Artists notified if work is not sold
  • May 2-3:  Unsold artwork picked up, 9 am - 5 pm, Maryland Hall main office, second floor
  • June 7: Artists will receive check for their portion of the sale

Entry Requirements:

We are seeking your highest quality work in all media created within the past two years including but not limited to, drawing, painting, sculpture, jewelry, pottery, mixed media and photography.  

  • Artists should submit three works for the jury’s consideration by January 31.
  • Artists may submit three works for the auction to be considered by the jury; the jury will choose one work for the auction, OR;
  • If an artist would like to create a specific work to be sold at the auction or has one or more works in progress but not yet complete by the deadline, this should be noted on the submission form.  In this case, an artist may submit up to three examples of their work for the jury’s consideration.  Works submitted should be representative of style, price or medium of the works in progress.
  • Work should not exceed 4 feet in any direction or weigh over 40 pounds.
  • Work should not have a minimum bid exceeding $3,000.
  • Work must have been created within the past two years.

All artwork must be original, reproductions are unacceptable (including giclees, commercially printed or computer generated reproductions of paintings, drawings, etc.) Substitutions of work must be approved in advance by the jury. Submission of the entry form constitutes understanding and agreement with all the conditions.
