Arts Alive, Maryland Hall’s single largest fundraising event of the year, will take place on Friday, September 8 from 6-11 pm. Our theme this year is A Night in Havana. Last year’s event raised more than $225,000 and was the most successful fundraising event in our history. Our goal this year is to exceed that amount have another record-breaking year to support our mission to deliver art for all to our community and its residents. 

From 6 to 8 pm, mix and mingle in our “tent under the stars” at Maryland Hall’s front entrance, sample delicious food, wine, beer and signature drinks and bid on items in our extensive silent auction.

At 8 pm, swing inside to Maryland Hall’s renovated (and air conditioned) theatre for the live auction, raffle drawing and lively Latin music by Grupo Quimbao that will keep you dancing all night!  During this casual performance, guests can dance in our orchestra pit, mingle with friends, and sample desserts, coffee, wine, beer and signature drinks throughout the theatre.

Arts Alive sponsors receive tickets for 10+ people and reserved seating in the theatre for the Cuban themed performance plus numerous recognition opportunities.  (Note--there are no seated tables this year at Arts Alive; just reserved seating in the theatre for sponsors). Ticket buyers to Arts Alive gain access to the event and a general admission seat in the theatre for the performance.
