Level: Confident and intermediate level students. Over the course of this 8 week class students will develop their own individual feel for the medium of watercolor. We will be working on projects that expand our sense of the techniques and expressive uses of watercolor while also addressing the formal concerns of composition, color relationships, line, value range, perspective, form and spatial depth. Students will work directly “from life”, from photo references and from their imagination. There will be emphasis on the individual student’s artistic visions and goals as well as many demonstrations and encouragement through group critiques. The supply list will be sent to you by the instructor. A materials fee of $5 is due to the instructor at the first class meeting. For more information, please contact the instructor at epraybe@aol.com. No class 4/5.
