Class will include a 20-minute landscape painting demonstration video and several steps to help you focus and organize your space so you are free to paint fearlessly.

In this class, Elaine Weiner-Reed (https://www.elaineweinerreed.com) will demonstrate how to paint a waterfall painting and sky. To make the composition fresh and original, she leveraged her feelings and memory, an oil painting she painted many years ago, and a magazine photo of a dramatic sky. The result is a unique expressive revision of her more representational oil painting. Her teaching video illustrates how to create fearless paintings based on “real” places in time – your favorite and inspiring places.

Have you ever wanted to explore abstraction, but hesitated - unsure of where to start or how to take the first steps? You do not have anything to fear because you will have a guide. In this class, Elaine Weiner-Reed will work with you personally as you paint. Throughout the class as you work at your own pace, Elaine stays in contact with each student to mentor and encourage you in the development of a personal style unique to your history and vision. Never more than an email away, she is responsive and will help you start from where you are and explore the world of abstraction your way. See where your imagination can take you!
