Adult Classes

This is a six week foundational course designed to inspire artists and makers to think about how they would turn their craft into a profitable business. Each week students will consider different aspects of running a business, from their product and authenticity, to knowing their target customer, marketing, where to sell, business structure, etc. We will also discuss things like how to define success, avoid burnout, and keep creativity alive. The whole course will revolvearound creating a business plan, and in the final class students will pitch their business idea to the class in preparation of the future launch of their product. *Please note, Sarah is a small business owner and not an attorney nor an accountant. This course will only briefly cover those aspects of starting a business.
