    Always thought that it looked like fun to throw on the potter’s wheel? Here’s your chance to just try it, a two-time session giving the wheel a spin. You get a quick introduction to wheel throwing …then you try it. We supply materials and tools, basic instruction and hands-on assistance. At the end you choose two to three pieces to be fired . On the following session we will talk about different glazing and decoration techniques and you will have a chance to glaze your pieces. Your finished pots can be picked up a couple weeks later. This is a great class for the curious or those who just want to check pottery off the bucket list! No experience required. Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting messy and bring an old towel.     In this four week course students will learn advance techniques to take their glass fusing skills to the next level. Using sheet glass, powders and frit students will learn the basics in small kiln casting, sandblasting, vitragraph, flow slabs and strip construction. From abstract to imagery this class will help you evolve and find voice. Previous glass experience is helpful but not necessary. Bring a sketch book, stencils and lots of ideas.
