Painting Classes
Learn to paint from the region's most experienced and respected Teaching Artists.

Painting Classes at Maryland Hall
Some psychologists have compared the experience of complete concentration and absorption that you get while painting to a mindfulness practice. Painting develops creativity, strengthening the mind and triggering dopamine activity in the brain. And, with our Teaching Artists, it's fun! Whether you're just picking up your brush (or picking it up again) or you are an established artist, there is a class for you to learn and grow from at MD Hall. Get outside in a plein air class, paint from a live model, or lose yourself in a landscape in an upcoming class. Classes are offered for all ages.
