This class is an imaginative continuation of Creative Movement I- self-expression, creativity and flexibility of movement encouraging self-confidence. Children are introduced to the concepts of basic movement, rhythms and music for ballet and express themselves by focusing on different ballet story themes (Cinderella, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, etc.). Note: Students must be 4 by November 1, 2020. The attire for all classes, except where otherwise noted, is as follows: Girls: Black BTM iniform leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet slippers. This clay studio teaches the basics of creating dynamic clay sculptures at home, and introduces students to a variety of modeling materials that are easy to use at home. Students will explore creating vessels, tiles, and other sculptural art in this class. Students are also invited to try out homemade clay recipes as well. This virtual live class meets over Google Meets once a week. Materials Needed: pencil, aluminum foil, tooth picks, and clay of choice. Clay Recommendations from Advanced to Beginner: Sculpey III (oven-bake) OR modeling/plasticine clay (non-drying) OR Model Magic ( Air Dry). Email the instructor with any questions: studio@rosar.io. Students desiring one ballet class per week should enroll in the Classical Ballet 1 level. This class is the continuation of formalized classical ballet, including barre, centre, and stretch exercises and an increased vocabulary of steps. Note: Students must be age 8 on or before November 1, 2020 or by audition or faculty approval.
