Students taking this workshop will be using quality studio grade materials and streched canvas to create a painting of their choice and subject matter. Students should bring several photos or objects of their choice to the first class to select a subject for a final painting. We will start with paper to size the project and create several thumb nail sketches for our studies and proceed to the easel to paint. Students will try several brush types as well as a variety of mediums for effects with acrylic paints. All styles of painting will be acceptable from realism to abstract, depending on the student's choice of subject matter for their work. A materials fee of $45 is due to the instructor on the first day of class (an itemized list is available upon request). For more information, please contact the instructor at awallstudio@gmail.com. Students are welcome to bring music to class.
