In partnership with Hammond Harwood House, join us for En Plein Air Painting Workshop in the beautiful garden of the historic Hammond-Harwood House. The Hammond-Harwood House is a museum of 18th and 19th century architecture and art. Built in 1774, this National Historic Landmark presents a window into the lives of the people who built the house and those who lived in it, as well as an extensive decorative arts collection.

The program begins by examining the painting The Mill by James Peale. Participants will then be instructed in painting en plein air in the garden by Maryland Hall Teaching Artists Edmond Praybe and Melissa Gryder.

This event is free and open to the public, but space is limited. Reservations are required, please reserve a spot through Eventbrite or call 410-263-4683×10 or email info@hammondharwoodhouse.org

This program is free to participants thanks to the Winifred Gordon Foundation.
