World Artists Experiences: Chinese New Year Celebration

World Artists Experiences presents a Chinese New Year celebrating the Year of the Rabbit, on January 30th from 5:30-8 pm at Maryland Hall.

The festival begins with a presentation of crafts, 5:30 – 6:30 pm, Bowen Theatre. Highlighted crafts will include woodblock printing, Chinese clothing, red lantern making, dumpling making, and more.

Enjoy performances of Chinese dances, music and instruments. 6:30 – 8:00 pm, Main Auditorium: doors open at 6:10 pm.

WAE brings this celebration in partnership with the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China and Chinese arts groups in Maryland and Virginia.  This is a free event. Seating is available on a first -come, first -seated basis.
