c.l. bigelow disassembles man made items into their individual component parts, using the individual parts to remake into a new item. She has used the fins of the washing machine drum paired with the handle grips of the seed spreader, topped off with the peanut butter jar lids in an assemblage. For c.l.bigelow everything is fair game - security envelopes to tyvek to the plastic cd holders taken out of an old entertainment cabinet. In her work pure shapes work together.
