    The Metro-Washington Chapter of the Colored Pencil Society of America celebrates its 25th year by focusing on the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service.

    Vegetable and fruit sculptures of vivid color and vibrant wearable art by artist and landscape designer Jan Kirsh.

     This exhibition of Cindy Fletcher Holden's work features large oil paintings that are a part of a continuing series of shiny cars and the world they reflect, as well as small oil paintings that were inspired by Fletcher's two year, world-wide sailing adventure.

     A restrospective celebrating the life and career of Lee Boynton, a local artist, teacher, and former Artist-in-Resident at Maryland Hall.

    The Han-Mee Artist Association (HMAA), which was established in 1975, consists of 30 active Korean artists working in painting, sculpture, metal art, ceramic and installation. The exhibition at Maryland Hall will celebrate 40 years of the HMAA in the Greater Washington Region.

  • Openshaw Balcony Gallery, 3rd floor

    An exhibition celebrating the beauty and mystery of dark colors. This exhibit will be juried by Mohammad Gafar and curated by Frostburg State University student and MHCA intern Thomas James.

  • Chaney Gallery, 2nd floor

    This exhibit looks back over 40 years of making, learning and teaching by Malmgren. He explains, "It's a personal exploration and chance to collect in one room at one time objects that have been formed by my hands and been used by me and others."

    This artist's paintings explores his experiences and the people who have populated his life and his enviornment. Riesmeyer states "When I begin painting it is usually because I have been struck by something special or magical about a particular place or object - and that 'something' becomes the goal towards which I try to work."
