This exhibit, hosted by the Arts Council of Anne Arundel County & AND Creative Studio, aims to celebrate the working artists who make Annapolis an inspiring and dynamic hub for creative expression.
Exhibition Dates and Venue
Discover the essence of Annapolis' artistic spirit at the Chaney Gallery from June 3 to August 30. This summer-long art exhibit is part of Annapolis Arts Day on June 10 and aims to foster art appreciation and inspire conversations about the creative talents that enrich our city.
Join the Creative Community: Entry Guidelines
Eligibility: Open to artists residing in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
Terms: By entering, artists agree to the exhibition's terms, including the use of images of accepted works for promotional purposes.
Availability: Artworks cannot be withdrawn before the end of the event.
Ensuring the Safety of Artworks
While all artworks will be handled with care, artists are advised to carry their own insurance if desired. Neither AND Creative nor Maryland Hall will be responsible or liable for loss or damage from any cause.
Artwork Specifications
Size: Hanging work must be 20 x 24 inches or smaller.
Categories: 2D artworks (drawing, painting, printmaking), 3D artworks (sculpture, installation work), and written work.
Sales and Delivery
Artist's Share: Artists will receive 50% of the sales proceeds of their work.
Sales Option: Artwork does not have to be for sale.
Buyer Arrangements: Maryland Hall will coordinate with buyers to organize deliveries or drop-offs.
Exhibition Timeline
April 10: Art submissions open.
May 15: Entry deadline.
May 24: Notification of acceptance into the show.
TBD: Artwork drop-off to Maryland Hall (week of June 5th).
June 10: Exhibition opens.
TBD: Exhibition closing reception (late summer).
