We are excited to host this year's official KickOff celebration for the GreenGive!

Location: Outdoors on the Labryinth. Rain Plan: In the Galleries, 2nd Floor

What is GreenGive?
GreenGive is a day of giving starting on May 28 at 5 p.m. through May 29 at 5 p.m. that harnesses the
collective power of individuals like you to provide the critical funds needed to protect our waters and
lands. You can join with us “for the greener good” by giving online during the GreenGive, and by
spreading the word about GreenGive in your community, your workplace, or your congregation.

Come to the KickOff Party!

Join all 10 participating GreenGive organizations and your friends and neighbors to learn more about each and to celebrate their accomplishments for the Greener Good! Come prepared to be amazed by the work of your favorite non-profit and some with which you may not be familiar. Take this opportunity to ask questions of the organizations about their projects and goals.

You'll also learn about the GreenGive's exciting collaborative projects at Maryland Hall:

  • A conservation planting near the south side entrance
  • Removal of invasive species and replanting with natives between Bates Middle School and Maryland Hall

Join us for good food and drink, and good cheer as we raise funds in a collaborative way for all 10 organizations! You'll be able to donate to the organizations of your choice at the kickoff online or by check.

Plus, now is the perfect time for environmentalists to visit Maryland Hall! In the Galleries, you’ll discover a connection to our waterways through the arts:

“Navigation” in the Chaney Gallery is a Partner Exhibition with Maryland Federation of Art. Juried by James Cheevers of the US Naval Academy Museum, the group exhibit features maritime themed works in conjunction with Maryland Boat Week. The Openshaw Balcony Gallery exhibits “Weather on the Water: Works by Annapolis Arts Alliance.” The works emphasize the beauty and drama of both sea and skyscapes of the Chesapeake Bay. The KickOff Party is free and open to the public. Advanced registration has closed. Walk-up guests welcome.
