Music Together Chesapeake

This year Music Together Chesapeake celebrates 20 years of family music making in and around Anne Arundel County, and is delighted to be offering classes at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts.  Music Together® is an internationally recognized early childhood music & movement program that focuses on offering classes for young children and their parents or caregivers.  The Music Together philosophy states that all children are musical and can achieve Basic Music Competence and that this learning is best achieved in a playful, rich musical environment including developmentally appropriate practice.

The Music Together Family Class is based on a family style of learning where children may attend birth through Kindergarten.  Children participate at their own level in singing, moving, chanting, listening, watching, or exploring musical instruments. Any caregiver -- parents, grandparents, nanny -- can bring the children. The whole family is welcome for this important family music experience. Song materials go home with each family to help facilitate music making as part of each families day to day experience.

Each family receives materials with tuition: A songbook, CD and download of the song collection, new every semester, and access to the Family Music Zone with fun activities. When registering a second child, please take advantage of our sibling rate. Infants 8 months and under as of the first class of the semester may attend free with a registered sibling.
