Course Description:

Embrace your dramatic side and come to Building Better People Productions' Musical Play Production Camp! Students will learn about acting by doing it: we will rehearse and perform “Jack and The Beanstalk”. Here is the classic tale told country style with familiar songs. Down in Sweetwater Holler, poor Mama can't get Jack to do a thing. When she sends Jack to market to sell the cow, we're off on a high flyin' adventure!. We will perform for families at the end of the 2-week session. We will play theater games, help make simple props and set pieces, and also see a performance by Building Better People's professional acting company, right at camp. Pricing includes fees for materials. Students should bring drinks and nut-free snacks and lunch from home every day. There will be a 45-minute lunch break and several shorter breaks throughout the day. Camp performance for friends and families the evening of July 19.
Before & After-care are available daily from 8:30-9:00am and 4:00-5:30pm for BBPP Musical Theater campers only. The fee is $5 for before-care and $10 for after-care. These fees are payable to Building Better People Productions on the first day of camp. Participants should bring an extra snack,a book and/or a board game.
