Kemp Hammond

Kemp Hammond is an Assistant County Attorney in the Anne Arundel County Office of Law where he handles general litigation in state and federal court.  He is admitted in the Maryland Bar and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.  Hammond is on the Anne Arundel County Bar Association Board of Trustees, is a member of the Maryland Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. 

He obtained his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Richmond and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law.  Before practicing law, Hammond was a Financial Administrator and Contracts Representative with Northrop Grumman for five years.   

A lifelong Annapolitan, he and his wife Debbie have two children and live in Annapolis.  Hammond has been the President of the Germantown-Homewood Civic Association and serves on the Anne Arundel County School Board Nominating Commission.   He finds time to play his piano/keyboard and saxophone with other local musicians throughout the year, including playing in various Annapolis parades with former marching band members from Annapolis High School.
