Box Office and Patron Services Assistant
Job Summary

We are looking for fun, friendly, outgoing, hardworking people to work in our busy box office/patron service office. Must have a consistently positive attitude, and work well under pressure, both cooperatively and alone. The Box Office/Patron Services Assistant is responsible for warmly greeting patrons, quickly and accurately identifying their service needs, and assisting with ticket purchases, class registration processes, membership and other sales, Will Call, or be able to answer general questions and resolve issues through first-rate customer service. The overall focus is on sales and service at all times. Hours include nights/weekends. 10-15 hours per week. $13-$14 per hour. 

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with patrons handling ticket and subscription sales, ticket exchanges, ticket donations, Will Call, class registrations and gallery sales.
  • Remain up-to-date and knowledgeable of the performances and classes at our venue and be able to comfortably relay that information to our patrons.
  • Provide excellent service to patrons both on the phone and in person.
  • Ability to work in a hectic fast-paced environment, while maintaining a professional, courteous demeanor.
  • Provide administrative support as required for the organization.

Qualifications and Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Tessitura system preferred but not required. Previous customer service experience required. Requisites are: multi-tasking, problem-solving, time-management, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Must be punctual, dependable and have reliable transportation to and from work.
